About a month ago we announced that we were doing another TravelCon conference, with this one taking place at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. We had a great turnout and received amazing feedback from the first conference, most of which centered on it being a much smaller and more inclusive conference, so we decided that another one was definitely needed. You can buy tickets here if you’re interested.
We decided to keep it small again (about 100 people) so that everyone can get their questions answered and help make connections with others in the room. I’m also very excited to say that we have a really great cast of speakers once again. Here’s the current lineup, which is always subject to change:
9:00 – 9:30 Registration
9:30 – 9:45 Morning Meet & Greet with other Attendees
9:45 – 10:00 Get Situated, Opening Remarks
10:00 – 11:00 Julian – The Devil’s Advocate
11:00 – 11:45 Shawn Coomer – Miles to Memories
11:45 – 1:00 Lunch
1:00 – 2:00 Greg – Frequent Miler (Manufactured Spending)
2:00 – 2:45 Matt – Saverocity (TBD)
2:45 – 3:00 Break
3:00 – 3:45 Scott – Travel Codex (TBD)
3:45 – 4:45 Tahsir – Bengali Miles Guru)/Amol – Points to Point B (Advanced Manufactured Spending)
4:45 – 6:00 Closing Remarks / Breakout Sessions
6:00 – ??? HAVE FUN IN VEGAS!
Like the first TravelCon in February, we’re hoping to do another group dinner after the conference. We’ll be sending out emails to everyone to get a formal count for this, so keep a look out if you’re joining for the event.
Las Vegas is a more expensive venue, which is why we had to raise the price of tickets a bit for this event unfortunately. Hotel options are plentiful, both chain and non-chain, and Tahsir (Bengali Miles Guru) and I will be sending an email Monday 10/12 regarding some tricks to booking hotels for those that haven’t yet. We’ll also provide some tricks on booking rental cars in that email as well.
If you plan on buying a ticket, I would do so now rather than later so you can receive the email we’re about to send. And we’ll of course post any updates as necessary.
Hope to see everyone there!
looking forward to meeting everyone! 😀
Is it a requirement that every title about a miles/points DO from every blogger end in an exclamation point?
hello, will there be a TRAVELCON 2016?
We currently will be speaking at the FTU conferences on a separate Manufactured Spending day in lieu of a TravelCon for the foreseeable future. TravelCon isn’t dead, it’s on pause for now.
