If You Missed the Last Amex Premier Rewards Gold 50K Offer…

I may have financial relationships with some of the cards mentioned in this post. I appreciate your support if you decide to use my links!

…Then you’re in luck, because it’s available again! I believe The Points Guy was the first to write that this offer is available, along with several other offers that you may or may not be interested in. For me, the Amex PRG card is the only one worth considering.

The offer for the PRG is the same as it was during the 100K Platinum extravaganza – 50K points after just $1K spend in the first 3 months. The fee is waived the first year, then is $175 after that. This type of bonus for the PRG card has been relatively rare in the past, so I suggest you take advantage if you can. If not, it’s not the end of the world.

I’m not going to call this an amazing deal since we just had it last month and it’s been as high as 75K a couple of years ago, but it’s still a pretty good deal. If you just did a churn/app-o-rama recently I don’t think this is worth an extra credit hit. With that being said, it only took about 17 hours for this type of offer to get pulled last time so don’t wait if you plan to apply.

Simply go to creditcards.com, click on “Card Match” in the middle of the screen, add your info (note that your SSN is NOT required), and the top offer should be the 50K PRG card.

PRG Offer

Remember, you are not eligible if you’ve had the PRG card in the last 90 days or the personal Amex Platinum, Gold, ZYNC, or Green card in the last 365 days. Don’t apply if you’re not eligible since you’ll have no argument to get any points.

Also, don’t bother with the 25K Platinum card offer or the Frontier Airlines card that others are mentioning today. They’re not worth it.

  1. The difference between you and TPG? He gave you a HT on the bottom line of his post on the 100K offer, and you gave him one on the first line of yours. Well done.
