Club Carlson Makes Devaluation Date Even Earlier!

Well, here’s something interesting. Alex commented on my Club Carlson devaluation post this morning and mentioned that the date of the devaluation has actually been updated from May 1, 2014 to March 15, 2014. That means they just decided to move up the devaluation by 2.5 months. It could be possible that they always meant March 15 but forgot to update that one line, but I’m not so sure. That was a pretty important part of their devaluation to forget to update. You can see the chart here.

I don
I don’t have a screen shot of this chart from yesterday, but this date clearly said “May 1, 2014” just 24 hours ago.

Either way, this change is dirty in my opinion. This devaluation gives us less than 4 weeks notice, which granted is still better than no notice, but they changed the terms of the devaluation after they posted it, and gave no follow-up communication about it. It’s just unprofessional. Go ahead and tweet them to complain.

If you were planning to book Club Carlson rewards, book them before March 15, 2014. Heck, book it now in case they decide the devaluation takes effect tomorrow!
